An E-2 visa is required for teaching English in Korea. It usually takes 30~45 days from the sending your documents to your arrival in Korea with an E-2 VISA stamp in your passport.

FIRST STEP IN VISA PROCESS

Background checks:  The process is different for Canadians, Americans and applicants from other English-speaking countries.  However, all applicants need to acquire notarised background checks.  During your initial interview we will go over the details of what is required of you based on your country of citizenship.

ACQUIRING YOUR VISA LETTER

Upon the receipt of your documents in Korea (signed contract, diploma, transcripts and photos), we will then submit them to the Korean immigration office in order to process your “visa number” (Visa Issuance Confirmation Number). It is the number from the Korean immigration office that states you are eligible for an E2 work visa.  We will send it to you via email along wih your visa application and further information.

PROCESSING YOUR PASSPORT

Upon receipt of your "visa letter" from us, you'll then take it to the Korean consulate closest to you, where you will have your visa stamped into your passport and will need to schedule a face to face interview.  For those who live far from their regional consulates, there may be an alternative to having to present yourself in person.

LEAVING FOR KOREA

Once your passport has been stamped we will send you your E-ticket and pick up information and be sure that you are prepared and ready to go.
