The process
From the moment you apply to the moment you arrive in Korea, the entire process can take anywhere from 6 weeks to 4 months depending on the time it takes to acquire your necessary visa documents. Once an applicant has passed our interview screening and we agree to work together, we will assist our applicants in preparing their visa documents. Although we have included this information on this site (see VISA INFORMATION), it can be a complicated process and information and policies can vary. For this reason we suggest applying to us directly, as we can provide you with the proper guidance.
STEP 1: INTERVIEW SCREENING AND CONSULTATION (WITH KORJOB CANADA STAFF)

– ONCE A POSITION IS SECURED, IT IS TIME BEGIN THE VISA PROCESS – NOTE: An E-2 visa is required for teaching English in Korea. It usually takes 25-35 days from the sending of your documents to your arrival in Korea with an E-2 VISA stamp in your passport. |
STEP 4: ACQUIRING YOUR VISA LETTER Upon the receipt of your documents in Korea (signed contract, diploma, transcripts and photos etc..), we will then submit them to the Korean immigration office in order to apply for your “visa number” (Visa Issuance Confirmation Number). It is the number from the Korean Immigration Office that states you are eligible for an E2 teaching visa. We will send it to you via email along with your visa application and further information.
